TLC‘s former manager, Perri “Pebbles” Reid, is expressing her frustrations over her portrayal as an unethical businesswoman in the biopic CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story that premiered on VH1 last week.

Reid tells TMZ that her attorney is demanding the network make retractions. “This unprovoked attack has been extremely upsetting to me and my family,” she says, claiming the film contains  “many false and defamatory statements and scenes about me.”

In the flick, Pebbles is portrayed as a shady manger who stole millions of dollars from the group with a recording contract that later caused the trio to file for bankruptcy. TLC also claims that to break their contractual obligations with Pebbles, they had to pay her three million dollars — a million for each letter in their stage name.

As previously reported, Reid became a trending topic on Twitter during the show’s premiere last Monday, with many negative comments from fans. T-Boz tweeted, “We dont hv any problems with Pebbles We always give her the credit she deserves thats how we got here. But people hv differences & move on!”
