Credit: ABC/Image Group LAToni Braxton took to Instagram to tease fans about incoming new music with the mysterious caption, “Wait for it.”
The Grammy Award-winning singer posted a photo inside a recording studio, setting off fans in the comments’ section as they wondered whether she would be dropping a new single or an entire album.
“Eagerly awaiting Miss Braxton,” wrote one excited user.
Over the course of her 20-year stride in the music industry, Braxton has produced eight studio albums, including her collaboration album with longtime friend and producer Babyface for Love, Marriage and Divorce for which she earned a Grammy in 2014.
Her self-titled debut album peaked at No. 1 on Billboard in 1994. She made us cry with R&B ballads like “Un-break My Heart” “Another Sad Love Song,” and hit singles like “Breathe Again,” “You”re Making Me High” and “Love Should Have Brought You Home.”
Braxton last released an album in 2018. While not breaking into the top 10, Sex & Cigarettes peaked at No. 22 on the Billboard charts.
