Tracks by Cardi B, Childish Gambino and more land on Spotify’s 2018 Songs of the Summer Predictions list

Jora FrantzisMemorial Day weekend is just around the corner, which means summertime — and the hunt for the song of the summer — is upon us. 

Thankfully, Spotify’s got you covered with a complete list of its predictions for the 2018 Songs of the Summer.

Cardi B‘s smash hit “I Like It,” featuring Bad Bunny and J Balvin, lands at number one, with Childish Gambino‘s “This Is America” at number two. 

Meanwhile, Khalid‘s “OTW” featuring 6lack [pronounced “black”] and Ty Dolla $ign is number four.

Pharrell Williams is #5 on the list, thanks to his collaboration with former Fifth Harmony singer Camila Cabello, “Sangria Wine.” 

Rising star Ella Mai‘s single “Boo’d Up” is number six and Drake‘s massive hit “Nice For What” takes the number seven spot.

Also on the list: KYLE‘s “Playinwitme,” featuring Kehlani at number eleven; Post Malone’s “Ball For Me,” featuring Nicki Minaj at #12; and Khalid making another appearance on the tally at number sixteen, thanks to his feature on pop singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes‘ song, “Youth.”
