According to TMZ, the 36-year-old singer, born Tremaine Aldon Neverson, was arrested after getting into a physical altercation with a law enforcement officer on Sunday while attending the AFC Championship football game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills.

Footage obtained by the outlet shows Trey and the officer in a scuffle while in the stands of Arrowhead Stadium. The “Bottoms Up” crooner lands a punch on the officer and places him into a headlock, then the officer pins Trey to a seat and when backup arrives they place handcuffs on him. Throughout the altercation witnesses can be heard yelling at the officer to let the singer go.

The incident reportedly began after Trey asked some hecklers a few rows back to calm down. He was then approached by the officer, who witnesses claim incited the fight.

Sources tell TMZ that Trey was arrested for for trespassing, resisting arrest — both misdemeanors — and assaulting a police officer — a minor felony. He’s reportedly on a 24-hour hold and will likely be released tomorrow.
