by

Republic Records MediaThis Friday, Kid Cudi will return back to the moon for the release his long-awaited seventh studio album, Man on the Moon III: The Chosen.

To join him in outer space, Cudi invited Trippie Redd on the anthem “Rockstar Knights,” and Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Phoebe Bridgers on “Lovin’ Me.”

Divided into four acts, the 18-track album features production from Dot Da Genius and Take a Day Trip, as well as “Show Out,” another galactic anthem that features British rapper Skepta and late Brooklyn rapper Pop Smoke

This is exciting news for fans who have clamored for the next chapter of Cudi’s Man on the Moon trilogy for over a decade now. His double-platinum debut, Man on the Moon: The End of Day landed three Grammy nominations in 2009. A year later, Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager peaked at #3 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart before reaching platinum status.

Man on the Moon III: The Chosen arrives Dec. 11 and will be proceeded by two music videos by acclaimed director Nabil, who has worked with Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar and Frank Ocean, among others.

Earlier this year, Kid Cudi landed his first Billboard Hot 100 hit for his Travis Scott collaboration, “The Scotts.”
