TS Madison says she wants people to know trans voices matter on ‘The TS Madison Experience’

by

Courtesy of We tvTransgender activist and social media personality TS Madison is no stranger to the limelight. Yet, when We tv decided to give the Queens Supreme Court host an opportunity to share her world on national television, Madison says she knew it would be the perfect opportunity to uplift, inspire, and educate others.

“I want people to learn from me — humanity,” Madison tells ABC Audio. “That’s the biggest thing that I want them to learn from me. That we are humans.”

“I want them to see me as a person and not look at me as a trans — as a thing. I am a human being,” she continues. “I’m a person. I’m a trans woman of color. I matter. My life matters. My voice matters. And the people that are supporting me, their lives matter and their voices matter. And I want that to convey on the TS Madison Experience show.”

On the series, which in part documents the making of her online entertainment show The Queens Supreme Court, Madison shares her life outside the camera with her “found family” and team, who are committed to helping her achieve her career goals. Madison says that the important takeaway of the show is to “never give up.”

“No matter what odds are stacked against them, no matter how many “no’s” you get, or whatever obstacles are in your way, never give up,” she says. “Strive for what you believe in and follow your dreams. And if you fall down baby, get right up and keep on ticking. That’s what I want you to take away.

“And love. Love, love, love,” Madison adds.

The TS Madison Experience premieres tomorrow, Thursday, March 4 at 10 p.m. ET on WE tv.
