Kat MorganBrandy is making headlines again, but this time the “Almost Doesn’t Count” singer’s rumored romance with Sir the Baptist isn’t the focal point.
Instead, fans speculated that the recording artist was pregnant, thanks to an Instagram picture she posted this Monday that shows her onstage in mid-performance with what looks to be a slightly protruding belly.
However, Brandy’s 14-year-old daughter Syrai quickly came to her mom’s defense to shut down the rumors, writing, “My mother is not pregnant. I’m not gonna have any more siblings. I like being an only child. Thank you lord.”
Brandy’s response to her daughter’s cute statement? “@syraidsmith Get off social media at school lil lady.”
Brandy also changed her Instagram profile header to tell the world that isn’t expecting, but rather has just packed on a few pounds around her middle.
“People, I’m not pregnant!!!” Bandy writes. “I got too much work to do. I just like pancakes and chocolate cake… let me live!!!”
