US Reports Deadliest Day for Coronavirus as States Reopen

by

The U.S. has now suffered its deadliest day during the Coronavirus outbreak.  The World Health Organization, collecting and sharing data as of 4 am Friday, reports that 2,909 people died from COVID-19 in a 24-hour period. The deadliest day for the U.S. comes as some states have or prepare to reopen businesses and ease restrictions on public gatherings.  At least ten states had protests demanding that their governments ease orders put in place to slow COVID-19’s spread.

Should restrictions be eased and businesses open while the U.S. is still battling the pandemic?
