While Usher‘s Las Vegas residency is on a brief hiatus, he’s taking his talents to the Roots Picnic. The Grammy-winning star has just been added as a special guest and will be co-headlining alongside Ms. Lauryn Hill. It will mark his first Roots Picnic appearance since 2016.
The Roots Picnic will take place June 3-4 at The Mann in Fairmount Park in Philadelphia. It’ll feature a celebratory performance in honor of the 25th anniversary of The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill and a special stand-up comedy performance from Dave Chappelle, who will be accompanied by The Roots.
Also featured on the lineup are Lil Uzi Vert, Ari Lennox, City Girls, Lucky Daye, DVSN, Eve, Busta Rhymes, GloRilla and more. Diddy is no longer part of the 2023 show, for which tickets are currently on sale.
