by

Neil Lupin/RedfernsClap your hands for Donatella! The Versace Men’s Spring/Summer 2017 fashion show featured unreleased new music from none other than Prince during Milan Fashion Week

Singersroom reports that an 11-minute soundtrack of the late artist’s lively beats were used to showcase the runway event.

Fashion designer Donatella Versace, who regarded Prince as one of her “closest friends,” Billboard reports, wanted to pay tribute to him in a formidable way.

“My heart was broken by the news of Prince’s passing — I am still in shock. Celebrating him and his music at my menswear show seems like the best way,” she told Billboard. “Prince showed men how they could use clothing to express themselves, to make a statement, to be bold. The biggest tribute you can pay to him is to play his music, and to keep his memory alive.”
