Video Surfaces of Beyonce’s New Zealand Bungee Jump

by

Courtesy of Beyonce’s InstagramEarlier this month, Beyonce took a leap of faith and bungee-jumped off Auckland’s famous Sky Tower in New Zealand, which is the the tallest man-made structure in the Southern Hemisphere.  Now, the singer has shared footage of her death-defying experience via her official YouTube page.

In the video, titled “The Big Jump,” a smiling Beyonce dons a blue-and-yellow jumpsuit as she heads into an elevator. Once she reaches the top of the tower, the diva walks out to the ledge, looks down and says, “Oh my God.” An employee at the tower gave her a countdown and suddenly Bey leaps into the air.

The cameras kept rolling as the singer plunges 192 meters — or almost 630 feet — with only a cable supporting her. After she lands safely, Bey laughs and shouts, “This is awesome! This is so fun, I love this!”

According to The New Zealand Herald, Beyonce, who was in Auckland for her Mrs. Carter World tour, jumped off the tower twice.
