Watch Coi Leray’s ‘Open Mic’ performance of No More Parties

by

Republic Records Coi Leray is the latest artist to appear on Genius’ Open Mic series, performing her latest hit, “No More Parties.”

The Atlanta-bred rapper has kept social media buzzing with her latest single, which was released in January. It was followed a month later by a music video for the remix featuring Chicago native Lil Durk.

Coi Leray is the daughter of rapper, producer and former Love & Hip Hop star Benzino, although she’s made a name for herself all on her own. In 2017, the New Jersey-born rapper quit her job as a customer service rep and threw herself into music. She made her presence known releasing her popular hit, “G.A.N.,” from her 2018 mixtape Everything CoZ, as well as other tracks like “Huddy” and “By Myself.”

Coi even grabbed a place on the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse official soundtrack with Ski Mask the Slump God, Jacquees and LouGotCash, and a record deal with Republic Records. Since 2019, she’s collaborated with the likes of Gucci Mane, Kodie Shane and more, including her ex-boyfriend, Trippie Redd.

Last year, Coi Leray dropped her singles “Do Better” and “Slide,” featuring Gunna, the latter of which has racked up over 8.7 million YouTube views since it was posted last September.
