Ahead of new music Friday, here’s a roundup of new videos from Atlanta natives Lil Baby, Mulatto, “Throat Baby” rapper BRS Kash and “Entanglement” singer August Alsina

After a triumphant 2020,  Lil Baby returns with a music video for his new single, “Real As It Gets” featuring Louisville rapper EST Gee.

The melodic young rapper Baby came out of the gate with his gritty wordplay and lyricism about leveling up his career and being an influence on the streets.

“Get the ball, I’ma score or I’m passing / Got no love for no [woman], I ain’t passionate / I done ran up a dub on an accident / To the streets, I’m the voice, I’m an advocate,” raps Baby.

Sharing similar sentiments, EST Gee raps, “Ask the trenches, they gon’ say I’m the realest.”

The hip hop industry earned a whole new level of respect for Baby after he released his 2020 album, My Turn, which was recently certified triple platinum. It featured his single, “Emotionally Scarred” and his protest anthem, “The Bigger Picture,” on the album’s deluxe version.

Fellow Atlanta native BRS Kash also released a music video for his latest single, “Kash App” featuring Atlanta’s Queen of Da Souf, Mulatto. The track samples Ying Yang Twins 2000 anthem, “Whistle While You Twerk.”

In the video, BRS Kash rides around spotting different women to invite to his “Kash App Party.” After which, he sends the woman money via cash app. At the mansion party, the drinks flow, girls twerk and everyone looks like they’re having a ball.

For his first release this year, August Alsina also shared a music video for his single, “Pretty.” The track comes from August’s latest album, The Product III: stateofEMERGEncy, which debuted at #48 on the Billboard 200 chart last July.
