ABC/ Ida Mae AstuteNe-Yo is guiding a new generation of dancers as the founder of a performing arts school in the official trailer for Step Up: High Water.
The TV drama is the latest installment of the Step Up movie franchise.
The ten-episode original series, which takes place in Atlanta at the fictitious High Water performing arts school, centers around twins who relocate from Ohio to pursue their performing dreams.
Former Glee actress Naya River and Faizon Love are also in the cast.
The first Step Up movie debuted in 2006 and starred Channing Tatum and his now-wife, Jenna Dewan Tatum.
The dancing duo are credited as co-executive producers of Step Up: High Water, with famed choreographer, actress and dancer Debbie Allen listed as a director of one of the show’s episodes.
All episodes of Step Up: High Water debut January 31 on YouTube Red.
