The clip begins with the “Happy” artist’s head floating in the sky along images of animated Minions from the Despicable Me movie franchise surrounding him.
The rest of the visual intersperses scenes from the upcoming Despicable Me 3 film with multiple Pharrell heads and Minions in kaleidoscope form.
“There’s Something Special” is one of five new songs from Pharrell created for the Despicable Me 3 soundtrack.
Pharrell earned an Oscar nod and a Grammy for his 2013 #1 hit, “Happy,” from the Despicable Me 2 soundtrack.
