Monday, the superstar announced that four historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) will receive one grant of $25,000 each, thanks to Bey’s brand-new Homecoming Scholars Award Program.

One student from each institution will receive the grant for the 2018-2019 school year.

According to an official statement, the four students from each school will be able to use their $25,000 scholarship for study in various fields, such as literature, creative arts, education, business and communications.

All applicants must be able to maintain a 3.5 GPA or above.

Finalists and winner will be chosen by the selected universities.
