According to a recent report, Wendy’s is asking “Where’s the Beef?” and is facing a temporary beef shortage. This report alleges that the fast-food chain has “struggled to maintain enough supply this past week” and can’t keep up with consumer demand for burgers. To make matters even more alarming, some customers have posted on social media that they’ve literally had to change their order because an employee told them there was a temporary meat shortage. Meat processing plants across the country have had to close temporarily because of COVID-19 and that has caused the shortage. Wendy’s is continuing to monitor the situation.
