Wyclef Jean to perform at Jazz Foundation of America annual fundraising party in New York City

Jazz Foundation of AmericaWyclef Jean will be among the performers at the Jazz Foundation of America’s 28th annual fundraising loft party in New York City on October 19.

The event, hosted by Danny Glover and Michael Imperioli from The Sopranos, will feature a tribute to New Orleans icons, including Art Neville and Cyril Neville of The Neville Brothers, and the late Dr. John. Last year, Roberta Flack was honored at the 2018 fundraising party.

The Jazz Foundation of America provides financial support, housing assistance, medical care and disaster relief to needy musicians. JFA also brings live music to students in 17 states through its Jazz and Blues in the Schools program.

Prior to the Jazz Foundation event, Wyclef will perform concerts October 11 and 12 in Miami. On October 24, the Grammy winner will host the monthly MTV Push event, “Wyclef Goes Back to School,” at Chelsea Music Hall in New York City.
