DeWayne Rogers/Monami EntertainmentLegendary R&B group Xscape is in the midst of their Great Xscape tour, which believe it or not is their first-ever headlining tour.
The quartet tells ABC News that being back on the road is “an amazing feeling.”
“People were holding their phones with the lights on up in the air so it was just, it was just a beautiful sight to me,” says Kandi Burruss.
She continues, “The fans have been posting [on social media] like crazy.”
“They’ve been giving nothing but positive comments…all the people who came to the first show. When you have people there at a concert early, and it’s almost full when the show starts, that’s great.”
Even though it’s been 12 years since Xscape’s time in the spotlight, Kandi adds that fans won’t be disappointed in their Great Xscape Tour performance.
“I think the good surprise was that our harmonies and everything just kinda came back like we never left.”
She goes on: “If you haven’t sung together in a long time you don’t know if everybody’s gonna remember. And it just seemed like it just kind of flowed.”
Speaking of flow, Xscape just released a snippet of their brand-new track called “Wifed Up.”
