You’re embarrassing me! Blue Ivy quiets Beyoncé and JAY-Z at the Grammys

by

Michele Crowe/CBSBlue Ivy had no problem telling her uber-famous parents JAY-Z and Beyoncé to curb their clapping during the Grammys Sunday night.

A video posted by a fan on Twiiter shows the six-year-old using her hands to quiet Bey and Jay’s applause for former Fifth Harmony singer Camila Cabello‘s moving speech about growing up as an immigrant in America during the awards show.

Of course, viewers shared their opinions of Blue’s bold move on social media.

One Twitter user wrote, “Blue Ivy literally told her parents to stop clapping to hear the end of Camila’s speech. A camilizer,” while another added, “Blue Ivy like, ‘No we don’t clap for others. They clap for US!!!”

Blue’s pop was the leading Grammy nominee, with eight nods, including Album of the Year for 4:44. However, the rapper walked away from music’s biggest night empty-handed.
