Yung Miami‘s relationship with Diddy may raise some eyebrows, but she’s well aware of why she’s into him. The City Girls rapper shared some of those reasons while attending the LA premiere of BMF season 2.

“He’s a man. He’s a grown man,” she tells People. “He’s very honest. He’s upfront about everything, ain’t no secrets with him. Nothing in my face, everything in one. I can talk to him about it.”

She adds that the two also bond over their spirituality. “We go to church. He takes me to church. We pray together. We put God first, for real,” she explains. “We pray, talk to God, and go to church. I can talk to him about anything.”

Ultimately, the rapper says it’s the “first time” she’s had a relationship like the one she has with Diddy.

Yung Miami, born Caresha Romeka Brownlee, attended the BMF premiere as a cast member of the second season. She says fans can expect to see “a whole new side” of her through her character, Deanna Washington.

“I know y’all know Yung Miami, I know y’all know Caresha, but it’s like, it’s a very emotional scene, and it’s real acting,” she says. “Like, it’s very emotional. I’m a wife, it’s different. I ain’t gonna spill too much, but it’s a whole different side of me.”

Aside from rapping and acting, Yung Miami also hosts her podcast, Caresha Please. She’s a woman of many titles, but she enjoys “all of ’em the same.”

“I enjoy all of it,” she says. Like I’m just so happy to be in the space that I take all of it in the same. I’m so happy.”
