Stevie Wonder, Donnie McClurkin and Ledisi honor Andrae Crouch!

The 23rd annual Movieguide Awards took place last night in Los Angeles, the awards honor best family-friendly movies and television shows but they also took time to honor Gospel music legend Andrae Crouch who died January 8th.

Stevie Wonder led the star-studded tribute that also included Donnie McClurkin, Ledisi, and Take 6!

The legacy of Andraé Crouch not only changed music, but reached into the movie industry with his Oscar nominated “Maybe God’s Trying to Tell You Something” from Steven Spielberg’s movie THE COLOR PURPLE. Crouch also arranged music for Disney’s THE LION KING in 1994.

Movieguide Awards will air Saturday at 6:00 on the REELZChannel.
