Steve Harvey wasn’t the only one bringing inspiration this weekend at Disney World! Bishop T.D. Jakes also spoke a word to the kids who were part of the Disney Dreamers Academy.
“If you can get your focus on what’s in front of you, instead of what’s behind you, you can do some amazing stuff,” said Jakes who spoke to the 100 kids who were part of the events. “I am telling you right here and right now, it does not matter where you start. It matters where you finish. Use what’s working against you to work for you.”
Jakes who is Pastor of The Potter’s House in Dallas normally speaks to adults at his church and many different ministry events said that speaking to the kids was a great experience.
“Great to have an opportunity to speak into the lives of young Dreamers at Disney Dreamers Academy!”
He added, “I want to challenge you to spread your wings! Having dreams is an exit strategy from a painful reality.”
