Creflo Dollar has caught a lot of flack over his asking for $65 million in donations for a private jet and now Kirk Franklin is giving his two cents.
In a new blog post, Kirk Franklin said, “When a pastor wants people to buy him a private plane while a missionary in Somalia bathes children with sores, that’s a shortage of character.”
Franklin never mentions Dollar by name, but he dosen’t really have to.
“When I camouflage my ‘greeds’ to look like “needs,” that’s a shortage of character.” He also wrote, “If your theology can’t be preached in a third world country, where a Bentley and a Lear jet probably won’t come to the guy who walked four miles to church for prayer, then your theology is wrong.”
