Tye Tribbett has been a major force in Gospel music since bursting on to the scene nearly 20 years ago, but now with five albums to his credit he’s about to launch into sometime new. The Grammy and Stellar winning artist is preparing to host his own Sunday morning TV show “Joyful Noise” on BET, and he’s very excited about it!
“We got a call from BET to come audition, so, we went. Even though other hosts and artists auditioned as well, we got a callback saying that they wanted to move forward with me as the host” he said.
Tribbett says that even though he’s done TV before, this will be much different but he’s certainly up for the challenge.
“I’ve hosted the Stellar Awards, and I’m doing the Dove Awards this year, but I have never hosted anything as consistent as this show” he said. “This will be different, but I’m ready!”
“Joyful Noise” with Tye Tribbett will premiere Sunday, October 9th on BET!
