Yolanda Adams Takes The Gospel To The Olympics!

by

Yolanda Adams’ music is making an impact on the Olympic games in Rio! Canadian Olympic track and field star Mohammed Ahmed says the gospel diva’s music has given him inspiration and motivation as he prepares to compete in Rio.

“I’m listening to music from the moment I get up until the moment I go to bed. Race days, you’re just sitting around waiting for your events, so you’ve got to do something to kill time,” he said. “I categorize the songs in my playlist as soul-massaging or heart-pumping, blood-flowing ones,” he explains. “The soul-massaging type of songs are like Mariah Carey’s ‘Hero,’ Yolanda Adams’ I Believe,’ R. Kelly’s ‘I Believe I Can Fly.'”

The Olympic games begin tonight in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
