Congratulations to two of Gospel music’s biggest Donnie McClurkin and Israel Houghton who have both announced their engagements!
Donnie McClurkin’s engagement to Gospel singer Nicole C. Mullen was announced during a taping of the Praise the Lord show on TBN.
“Honestly, the only thing in my life that is missing is marriage. The only thing that is missing in my life that can cause real family, is marriage” McClurkin said. “Financially I’m there, spiritually I’m almost there, emotionally I’m getting it together, but the only thing that’s missing out of everything that I’m doing locally, cross country and globally is that aspect that makes family, family — is that wife that would make man whole, that element that brings favor to man.”
Israel Houghton has also announced his engagement to “The Real” co-host Adrienne Bailon!
“I’ve taken a giant leap of faith in asking her to share life with me forever and to give me a shot at getting it right this time,” Houghton posted on his Instagram page, adding, “She has graciously granted my request… She said yes. Thanks Be To God. Thank you @adriennebailon for graciously loving me.”
The couples have not announced specific wedding plans.
