21 years ago Kirk Franklin who was still a new artist released what would become a holiday classic!
“Kirk Franklin & The Family Christmas” was technically Franklin’s second album but it still remains one of his most popular featuring the songs “Jesus Is The Reason For The Season”, “Silent Night”, and the favorite “Now Behold The Lamb” which was lead by group member Tamela Mann…long before her superstar solo career!
Franklin recently acknowledged the love given to his Christmas album via Twitter:
“Ok I gotta say it! Thank y’all fam for the love y’all ALWAYS give my Christmas album! 21 years later❤”
