Kirk Franklin is chart topping Gospel artist with fans all around the world, but he’s also a daddy who loves his ‘little girl!’
Franklin posted a video to his Instagram page of a surprise visit to his daughter Kennedy’s college that had her in tears.
I drove down tonight to my baby girl's college to surprise her. If you have to travel a lot for your job, you know how difficult it is for your kids when you have to miss so many events… you can't make every game, play, or whatever it is the road robs them of. These kind of kids miss out on a lot, and I have spent major parts of my life feeling guilty and the internal war of thinking I'm a terrible parent when I'm not there, even when they try to assure you it's not true. If you read this kennedy, if I was ever forced to choose, I would pick you over everything, every single time. Your tears were worth the drive.
