I’ve been holding this one in for a long time! But I can finally share that when I was in Toronto, I was filming a biopic on The Legendary Clark Sisters—playing Dorinda Clark-Cole. I won’t try to put all my feelings into one post, but playing this beautiful woman of God was life changing. Before we stepped one foot on set, we had to hit the studio to re-create that signature Clark Sisters sound. It was the vision of our director, Christine Swanson to not cut ANY corners vocally and cast singers who could truly be authentic and sing live. That is such a defining component to the legacy of The Clark Sisters. Donald Lawrence was the ONLY choice to help us find that very specific sound. I’m proud of what we created and can’t wait to share more of this once in a lifetime journey. 🙏🏽 @angelabirchett is Jackie, @christina_official is Twinkie, @kierrasheard is Karen, @ravengoodwin is Denise 💕
