Bishop Eddie Long is finally addressing rumors about his health after a website reported that he is battling stage 4 cancer and only has weeks to live.
“I am recovering from a health challenge that I trust God to deliver me from” Long said in a written statement. “It is unrelated to the eating for life diet consisting of mostly raw vegetables that I am continuing, as part of a holistic approach to good health.”
Reports first surfaced that the pastor of Atlanta’s New Birth Missionary Baptist Church was ill a few weeks ago when he posted a video that showed him with a dramatic weight loss, but Long attributed that to a new vegan diet.
