Michelle Williams is showing that she’s a true ‘ride or die’ for her friend Beyonce who hasn’t had the best week. Bey was accused of preventing Ledisi from singing “Precious Lord, Take My Hand” at the Grammy Awards last Sunday.
Then after her performance, she faced even more critism from those in the church. Williams finally had enough and sent this tweet:
“Was saddened to see someone I love subjected to hate and ridicule from so-called Christians and ministers this past weekend. I took notes,” Williams wrote. “I didn’t know only certain people could sing gospel. (Sarcasm) I speak about it because it’s done to me ALL the time! Yall can have it!”
