Haven’t filed your 2016 income taxes yet? If you have put it off until the last minute you are not alone. According to the I.R.S. nearly 25% of Americans wait until the last two weeks before the file their tax returns. If you are not ready for the April 18th deadline you can file for an extension using IRS 4868. Keep in mind if you get an extension you still need to pay an estimate of what you owe or face late penalties and interest.
