Johnny Gill started singing in his father’s church at the age of five. The group was called Little Johnny and the “Wings Faith” and included his brothers Bobby, Jeff and Randy. In 1983 his childhood friend Stacy Lattisaw convinced him to record a demo. He was 17 when he was offered a record deal with Atlantic Records and released a duet album Perfect Combination with Stacy.
Johnny graduated from the Temple University Honors program. Johnny will be in town with New Editon and Babyface for the “This One’s For You Tour” on June 29 at Verizon.
