Kudos to Dallas County Misdemeanor Family Violence Judge Shequitta Kelly for creating a new pilot program called “Intercept”.
The Honorable Judge Kelly researched over 900 cases pending in her court and found that 60% of the offender work unemployed and 70% of cases that were assigned to her court were minorities that needed support services not jail.
