The singer is Harvard Universities’ Humanitarian of The Year for promoting healthcare and education in the Caribbean. She has built a state-of-the-art cancer facility to treat breast cancer at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Bridgetown, Barbados. “Ri-Ri” also created a scholarships for students to attend college in the U.S.
