The NFL has put the brakes on it’s National Anthem Policy until further review. The mandate called for all players to stand during the National Anthem or be fined and/or face discipline.
Last week the Miami Dolphins released the “proper anthem policy” to team members but after it was leaked to the Associated Press the league faced even more criticism.
New York Giants’ owner Steven Tisch spoke out earlier this week and said he wasn’t going to enforce any disciplinary action on his players protest during the anthem.
The NFL is meeting with the Players Association to negotiate how the league can continue to violate the 1st Amendment Rights of the players.
Meanwhile Colin Kaepernick is still raising money for community organization and staying true to the game.
