Original Cowboy Frank Clarke Dead At 84

Original Dallas Cowboy team member and former receiver Frank Clarke has died. Clarke died Thursday morning at his home in McKinney at the age of 84.

He was the first black star on the Dallas Cowboys team in 1960 before the Civil Rights era. He went on to become the first Black TV sport announcer in Dallas.  He is survived by two sons and a daughter. Rest In Power Frank Clarke.
