E. Coli Outbreak Alert: Don’t Eat Romaine Lettuce

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) urges consumers not to eat romaine lettuce due to E. Coli contamination. Thirty-two people have been ill, including 13 have been hospitalized in 11 states according to the CDC. People have become sick in California, Connecticut, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio and Wisconsin. If you have any romaine lettuce at home you should throw it away, even is you have eaten some and did not get sick.
