A Texas day care is still open after a video has gone viral showing a child being yanked by their hair while employees stood by and laughed. Police in Lubbock, Texas are conducting an investigation. The video shows a little girl being yanked by her hair as she dozes in and out of sleep at the breakfast table. Parents protested outside of the day care on Thursday. An employee can be heard on the video saying, stand up! Eat your food! and then they yank the girl’s ponytail. The mother of the three year old in the video learned of the incident when it went viral. She said the day care had no apology, and no reason for why the incident happened. The family said the child is doing OK.
