Kentucky Catholic Diocese Condemns Teens Who Taunted Native American Vet

Saturday in Washington DC hosted three marches at the same time. The Woman’s March, the Indigenous Peoples March and March for Life. A Kentucky teen, who had just come from the March for Life rally, went viral for standing in front of a Native American man in attendance for the Indigenous Peoples March. The teen was also blocking the man from moving. A few young people can be heard chanting,¬†build that wall. The teens attend a Catholic school in Kentucky. The school and the Catholic diocese has released a statement about the incident, we condemn the actions of the Covington Catholic high school students. This behavior is opposed to the Church’s teachings on the dignity and respect of the human person. This matter is being investigated and we will take appropriate action up to and including expulsion. Regardless of the encounter the teens should respect the Native Americans, They have suffered enough in this land.
