Tyrese has just landed the role to star as his idol Teddy Pendergrass in an upcoming biopic. Warner Bros has signed on to do the film after the studio acquired the life rights to Teddy’s life. In other interesting news, Tyrese will also be serving as producer of the film with Teddy’s widow Joan and Lee Daniels being executive producers. Tyrese has mad love for the singing legend and this project has been in the works for nearly a decade after Teddy’s death. Tyrese has proven himself at the box office in ‘Baby Boy’ ” “Fast and The Furious” series and the ‘Transformers’ film series. The actor said, “I feel this is a role I was born to play”
Tyrese is one hell of an actor and singer so this should make a whole new generation swoon.
