A veteran’s family is seeking answers when Everett Palmer Jr. died while in police custody and his body was returned missing his heart, brain and throat. The 41-year-old went to Pennsylvania to resolve an outstanding DUI warrant, two days later he was dead. Palmer was being held at the York Pennsylvania jail.
The family hired an attorney to get answers but York County Coroner says that the organs were retained as part of the forensic autopsy for additional testing. That makes no sense. There is a lot of question that need to be answered. Read more from CNN here
