Walmart Pulls Violent Video Game Displays

by

Walmart is pulling violent video game displays and paraphernalia following mass shootings inside stores in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio. A third incident occurred at a Springfield, Missouri store Thursday when an armed suspect recorded himself pushing a cart but fired no shots. He stopped by an armed off-duty firefighter. The Walmart responded with a memo directing “immediate action” in removing signage and displays containing “violent themes or aggressive behavior,” according to the Washington Post reports. The move is out of respect for those affected by the incident, according to management, and doesn’t reflect a permanent change. More and more American’s in all communities have been on edge with the recent rash of domestic terrorism and looking to lawmakers to do something!
