The NBA’s new All-Star Game format was a hit, and Ice Cube wants some credit. The rapper-turned-sports-mogul says the NBA ripped off its ‘Elam Ending’ format from his BIG3 basketball league, which plays games to a target score rather than with a clock. While Cube wasn’t the first person to come up with the idea, he says the BIG3’s success proved to the NBA that the idea could work. After the NBA tweeted out the new All-Star rules on Sunday, Cube responded “Oh really? Where should I send my invoice?” What did you think of the All-Star format?
