It’s hard to believe that we lost Lisa “Left-Eye” Lopes 18 years ago today. Lopes was one of the creative forces behind the super-girl-group TLC. She contributed more than singing and rapping. Lisa designed many outfits, created album titles, artwork and and the lead co-writer on many tracks for the group. Her sudden and tragic death shocked the music world and fans were devastated. Lisa Nicole Lopes won four Grammy Awards. In 2002 her life was cut short by a car accident in Honduras she was only 30 years old.
