Dallas Issues Curfew Next Few Days

The City of Dallas has issued an emergency declaration to institute a curfew in and around downtown for the next few days. The curfew is in response to the violence that has erupted in the street disrupting peaceful protester’s.  Police Chief Rene Hall said the curfew will be in place from 7pm – 6am.

Chief Rene Hall has said it is important to provide a save space for protesters but the city will not tolerate any more damage to our city.

The areas affected are as follows: Deep Ellum, Farmers Market, Central Business District, West End, Victory Park and Uptown.
