Artists have been posting their Spotify numbers on their social media. Teyana Taylor posted hers. She had 162 million streams, 8.4 million hours, 15.2 million listeners in 92 countries for the 2020 year. She thanked her fans but in doing so said this was the end. She cited ‘little to no help from the machine’ in helping her career. She said she can close this chapter of her career with the comfort of knowing her hard work and passion was supported. I’m not sure if Teyana is really retiring or maybe she just taking a break but she is super talented and even as under-rated as she is it will be a loss.
