Fifty thousand were in attendance for the sold-out Travis Scott event, and eight died, and hundreds were injured after a crown surge led to people getting smashed together and going into cardiac arrest.  According to one witness, as Travis Scott played, “the crowd began to compress toward the front of the stage.” That’s when the incident happened.  According to the Mayor, “Those who died ranged in age from 14 to 27. One was 14, another 16, two were 21, two were 23, and one was 27.” Officials are still trying to figure out the details of what happened leading up to the incident.
