Erykah Badu is Instagram official with her new relationship. Over the weekend, the singer announced her engagement to JaRon, a self-described “music producer, audio engineer, artist, songwriter and author” who’s 27 years old. Of course everyone has to mentioned the age difference. Not only does that make him 23 years younger than Badu, but it also means he’s just five years older than Badu’s eldest son, Seven. In an Instagram message posted Saturday, Badu wrote, “Here’s to my guy and setting intentions, breathing easy, moving in unison, finely blended family harmonics. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Happy to be here on this school called earth … with you @jaronthesecret (family first).”
